Foundations of Web Development
At this stage, learners build a strong foundation in programming and web basics before jumping into Django.
Courses:
- Python Basics
Students are introduced to Python 3, one of the most widely used programming languages in web development. Topics include data types, variables, control flow, functions, modules, and error handling. By the end, learners will be comfortable writing scripts, solving problems, and applying core programming concepts in small projects. - Git & GitHub
Version control is essential in collaborative software development. This course covers Git commands, branching and merging, resolving conflicts, and managing repositories. Students also learn to use GitHub for pull requests, collaboration, and project management. - Web Basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Learners explore the fundamentals of web pages and client-side development. They build static sites with HTML, style them with CSS, and add interactivity using basic JavaScript. This ensures a clear understanding of how the front end connects to back-end development later in the track.
